Default Time for Top Re-Install

Well, its gotten cold-ish here lately so I broke down and put the hard-top and doors back on yesterday. Had to do it after the kids were freezing while driving home from soccer practice at night and teh temps dropped to about 49˚.

Anyone else hitting that "top-on" weather yet?

If you were in California you could still have it off.

Chicago - Mines going back on today.

Had a couple maybe 2-3 coldish nights, twice with the kids out over a 2 week period.

Well -- hopefully that will change this year. I have a second interview w/ Riverside County next month. Keeping fingers crossed .

By the way, it feels really weird to have doors and a top on now. Kinda still, quiet, and Spooky in the cab.

Getting ready to put mine back on. Only issue is that the hard top is about 30 miles away and the rainy season is getting ready to start here in the NW. It's hard to plan as I'll have to take the soft top off and drive the 30miles to get the hard top.

OR -- Keep the soft-top on on the way to the hard top. Take it off and lay it down in the back and then put the hard top on and carry the soft top home. It'll fit with the seats folded down.

PS -- I noticed on an earlier pots that you are a DKM fan (at least I think it was you). I just "discovered" them a couple months ago. Love their music!

I'm still trying to get my soft top leaking problems fixed at the dealer. Once they are done, then the hard top is going on...about that time for sure.

I put my top back on after Labor Day weekend and has been that way since. The only reason I did it was because I got super sick on the drive home. It was a beautiful day in Chicago, but once the sun came down it was close to 50 degrees. I was equipped with a tank top, shorts and a bandana. So, partially my fault.

...ill just have to wait for next summer again, haha.

Hopefully another couple of weeks of nice weather here in Atlanta. Getting cooler at night though.

Find myself going in later and later to work each day waiting for it to warm up a bit.

i had my jeep in twice for a leaking soft top (three times counting the initial "check it out" appointment. after ordering parts twice, it is fixed. now, i'm worried that something they replaced or changed will effect the way the hard top fits/seals. i'll probably put it on in the next month or so, but haven't had it on since the soft top leak was fixed.

if you put your hard top on, please let us know if it still seals properly once the soft top leak gets fixed!
