Nissan / Jeep ????

just heard on the news here that Nissan is looking in to purchasing Jeep from Chrysler

oh no... Not another manufacturer diluting the brand... That would totally kill Nissan Sales.

GM/Chrysler/Ford have been going this rebadging thing forever, And i think it's repulsive...

Can't find anything about it on the internet, but they were looking at buying Chrysler last year.

At least we might get the new Nissan/Renault 235 HP. V6 clean diesel that just got released in Europe.

The report I heard said Nissan/Renault was seeking to purchase some of Chryslers assets (no specifics). Nissan denied the claim though so we'll have to watch. Not sure why Chrysler would sell what appears to be the most desireable part of their line-up (the Jeep name).
