Unfortunately I don't think it was a Jeep commercial... but does anyone else find themselves looking for a reason to go driving? Like... "is the milk low?"... "do we need eggs?"... "should I drive to the nearest intersection and see if the lights are still alternating from Red to Green... to Yellow?". LOL

Add me to the list of 2012 alumni.
Nearly full optioned 2dr Rubicon - saddle leather, 730n Nav, tow package, 6 speed - only missing the dual tops and remote start.
Was off road only a few weeks after I got it. Unfortunately the third trip out will be my last for a while, got my first paint damage on it and unfortunately my first breakdown. Engine bay got splashed with some muddy water and took out the idler and tensioner somehow and broke the engine belt on the way back to town (~2000km on the clock). Was refused warranty on the same problem that someone else in my club got warranty for in a different stealership (though he didn't loose the belt).
Up to about 4200km now after a road trip to my parent's farm.

I brought home my silver 2012 JK 2 door Sport S about 3 weeks ago and already changed the oil. It now has about 700 miles on it and I love it so far. It is FAST ! I traded in my hunter green 1993 YJ for it. I was the original owner and it was hard to let it go. The weak a/c finally got me to trade up. I live in South Florida and got tired of arriving at the office dripping in sweat.

Attachment 339725Add me to the class roll! I have about 5k miles on her, JCR front and rear bumpers, Warn winch and Ace sliders. I've done the third brake light mod too. Even flipped the rear view mirrow 180 deg.! Getting tires next.
Is there a thread on the Third Brake Light mod? I'm curious about that... and what is the rear view mirror mod?

A friend of mine and his wife have a 2011 2dr Rubicon. Took my wife and I for a ride on a mountain pass up at Ouray Colorado on Saturday June 23rd. Sunday on the drive home all my wife talked about was how much fun she had on the ride. We went to a local dealer on Monday and bought a Silver 2012 JKU Rubicon. Never owned a Jeep, had no idea how much fun I was missing.
