I assume this is a question.

Penut butter leaves an oily residue. That is what you are probably seeing. You should be able to armor all it and saturate the rest of the plastic so it looks the same. Or, you could use a solvent to try and remove the oil and then treat the plastic to avoid discoloration.

I've heard very hot water would also work if you are working on exterior stuff.

I would use some sort of interior/exterior cleaner for plastic that kinda leaves a sheen. Soke the rag good and turn the rag often.

I just use that good old armoral. get the original spray bottle and a rang, cleans shines and doesnt attract a lot of dust like you would think. I think its the best thing I have tried and I have tried everything.

Cover the rest of the plastic with peanut butter too so you even out the stain.

Armor All it. I do all the plastic on the outside of my Jeep just to keep the Iron Range Orange dirt from staining the plastic.
