Default cleaning engine compartment

got a jk here, and wondering what everyone does to clean the inside of the engine compartment after doing a good day of mudding?

have not done any mudding yet, but ran thru some water(iowa road salt) and hosed it off with no problems....

especially curious what the compartment looks like after this kind of thing for those who have grill mesh installed

i went mudding...last week-- took many washes to get it somewhat clean....my horn will never be the same....

Don't do what I did: Held the sprayer too close to the radiator. Bent some fins and peeled some paint before I quickly pulled it away! :sad:
