Yep, they shouldn't have marked it as complete. That was the last straw with that dealer and I moved my business to a new dealer that is working with me to get the parts installed.

I finally received notice from FCA that they are ready to replace the clockspring with the new redesigned part.

Here is the letter.

I received the same letter. Even after paying me for the clockspring they're going to replace it and add shrouds to prevent further dust intrusion.

Still waiting on my letter. It's been at least 4 months since the initial awareness letter and nothing yet.

Brought my JK to the dealer last week to have the transmission cooler lines replaced due to weeping / leaking. They covered that under warranty and took care of the clockspring recall at the same time.

Scheduled an appointment for Thursday afternoon to have the work completed. They happened to have the part and shrouds in stock for the gray interior w/ cruise.

I replaced mine myself back in December 2013 after odd power issues, not sure if I should dig through my records or bring it in for the recall...

Got the letter today.

They're going to replace it with a functional spring and add extra dust covers......I don't see why you wouldn't take it in unless you simply don't have the time/ can't afford the downtime.

I asked and they said it's a 2hr job. I'll be waiting patiently in the lobby Thursday afternoon for 2 hours.
