Default Condensation on the inside of the hard top.

Riding around in the snow today we noticed that the inside of the hard top was wet. Actually enough that it dripped on me. This is our new '12. I never has this happen in our '08.

Anyone else experience this?

My 12 jku Rubi does the same thing. Inside of the roof gets lots of condensation on it and can drip on your head.

Happens to me in rapid temp changes, like pulling out of garage and parking it during snow fall.

IF the AC will come on in cold weather (Some rigs won't let it run below about 40 degrees) then the AC should pull the excess moisture out of the interior. You can still turn the heat up; you'll get nice dry warm air.

Otherwise, run the crap out of the heater and blower, and crack the windows so the humid air heads outside.

The hardtop could really use some insulation inside - for both summer and winter.

It's definitely not a leak. I'll need to see if there is moisture under the carpet.

Thanks for the feedback.

That should not be happening. If your windows are up, and the top is sealed, you should never get condensation on the inside of your roof. Clearly there is a problem, or your weather is just totally jacked up beyond anything I've ever seen.
