Default Converting my Brother to Jeep

Okay so as the title says I'm trying to convert my brother into the Jeep family. He drives a Toyota Tacoma now and is looking at a manual 09 Wrangler X that comes with a 3" lift and 305x70x16 tires. ( He said it has to have a lift and tires on it when he buys it plus be a manual) it has 74k miles on it and the dealership wants 16500-17000 for it. But his main concern/dislike of it is its yellow. (He thinks people will look down on it bc it's yellow)

So main questions what do yall think about yellow Jeeps, if you have painted yours before how much did it cost, and if you own a yellow Jeep have you ever gotten negative remarks from other Jeepers?

We build our Jeeps to fit our own tastes. I have never once thought, "Hmm, I wonder what others will think about this?" before adding my next mod. It's MY Jeep, I'll make it how I want it. If others don't like it, then they can build their own rig differently. Welcome him to the Jeep family and make sure he remembers to wave!

I've said the same thing but I think he secretly has a "Macho Complex" that is preventing him from wanting yellow(which in my opinion the yellow and black looks pretty great together) alas if it's not what he wants it's not what he wants. But just trying to prove nobody gives a crap about the color if you dont.

Yea like I said I love the yellow and black.

Here's the Jeep in question with a picture of the tires what do you think 16500 a fair price? It's very clean inside and out. If I had the money and didn't already have mine I would consider buying it.

Funny you should say that he was looking at a light blue/chrome (which he would have blacked the chrome) 09 X but I went to see it in person and it was bad wheels were literally falling apart, huge patch in the rear soft top window, and a giant cut by the spare tire that was full of rust ( just goes to show don't get your heart set on something that you see on the Internet) lol

I personally like the bright colors like yellow and orange. I've never heard anyone talk sh!t about the color of someone's jeep.

Yea neither have I but I guess if it's not what you want. He's trying to find a JK with a lift, tires, and manual for around 17k that's not yellow, orange, or white apparently.
