Default Damn Panic Button....

Is there a way to turn the panic thing off and keep the alarm? Happened third or fourth time now, sitting watching tv and the alarm goes off..... I get up, grab the gun and run outside like a maniac to find that it was my remote panic crap. Hey i live in Philly, gotta be ready for anything.. Just 5 min ago, i ran out there againg and the dog start barking, woke my son up... My wife is like WTF? can you just lock it without the alarm?...

Take your keys out of your pocket and hang them up somewhere so the button doesn't get pushed.

my Dad always kept his keys in his pockets, along with enough other miscellaneous crap to rupture a Clydesdale, and his alarm was always going off.

Mine has several times. It's usually when I squat down to pick something up. The other keys get pressed up against the buttons and next thing I know... the horn is going off.

My Jeep doesn't have an alarm so this has never happened to my Jeep. But, my wife's Santa Fe has an alarm and the panic button always gets pressed by accident while in my pocket. It usually happens at the worst times, like right when we get the baby to sleep.

Happens to me about once a mouth with my Chevy keys. most of the time it happens when I am getting out of the car at 2 or 3am  . I as thinking of takeing the button off or glueing something over it so I cant hit it.
