Oh, how I remember.... Took the daughter out in our 2000 wrangler and every time she shifted she pulled the steering to the left when she shifted. Tried ever so hard to break her of that.

BTW...she now drives an auto! DO NOT...I repeat, DO NOT let her behind the wheel of a stick.

The easiest way is to put it in 4wheel low and teach them. Then they don't have to worry about the throttle yet and can concentrate on the clutch and being smooth with it.
