I'd sure like to see someone offer something cheaper than the half doors (much cheaper!) for the four door JKs that would fill in the rear door openings. After lowing the rear seats, it would give the four door more or an extended two door look. Like this:

I'd love to see something quick and easy that keeps the side doors wide open when I need to load or unload.

you can pretty this up if your bored.
Door Tree wall mount, you can figure out what size angle iron to use in the middle and on the sides so the doors are flat as possible against the wall.
Do you think it will hold 2/4 doors and mount to a block wall or to studs in a wall.

My Door Tree is here if you never saw it.

Ohhh, I never thought of a half door that wouldn't open. That would be pretty cool, actually. My kids love climbing into the Jeep through whatever opening there is, so a non-opening door would work just fine.
I assume it'd be easier to make that way?

How about a cheaper alternative to the factory half doors that will accept the factory upper halfs? I'd like half doors for the summertime, but my only options for when it rains seem to be bestops canvas doors. I wouldn't mind these, but everyone tells me the don't seal to good against heavy rain. A cheaper metal alternative would be nice.

How about a rain gutter for when you open the door? all you have to do is make a flat aluminum channel that sits between the a pillar and the door that slightly sits against or under the weatherstrip, has a curled lip and directs the water down out of the header down through the door jamb every time you open the door when water is on your soft top it will catch and redistribute away from inside the cab or your pants.
I've been thinking of making this out of silicone and then possibly getting it over to a rubber place to see how much it would cost to develop.
