Default Which detachable air compressor?

I am looking at buying a 12v air compressor so I can air up after running trails. I don't want to keep it mounted to the jeep because I would have good use for it with other vehicles also. So the alligator clip style is what I am looking for. I'm not worried about it being fast just needs to do the job and want to spend $75-100.
What options are you all using? Thanks for all the help.

I've been really happy with this one. Used it half a dozen times. Gets hot but takes 3 minutes per tire from 14psi to 32 psi.

I am using an MV50 also and am very pleased with it. I've pumped up 8 35s with it before. You need to turn it off between tires or it will build up enough pressure to pop the hose. It is a real bugger to get back connected again. I've had mine for over 2 years. They are less than $60 on Amazon.

Been using my harbor freight one for 2 years. Our trail boss has had his for 5 or 6 years no problems. Only complaint is of someone else doesn't have one it will overheat after about 6 tires from 10-11 psi to 30-35psi. 2 or 3 minute break and good to go

Thanks I've looked at it and looks decent!

I've considered the one from Harbor Freight but not a big fan of their stuff specially since the price isn't any better than this one.

Anyone else with other options??

I've had huge quality issues with mine. Bad/loose soldering and wire connections, leaking air hose, cheap carrying case (plastic clip broke), and the pump gets hot and rests on its own schedule. I bought it thinking it would be the perfect setup (draw straight from battery, long, coil-up air hose, gage on the pump and not inline, etc), but it turned out to be junk!!!

I've read similar reviews on Amazon and I am not alone with my experience.

I don't know what else to recommend, as I'm in the market for a new one as well!!

I did this too, but bought the warranty knowing I would probably need it. After about a dozen uses the ball bearings in side cut loose and used the warranty. What they don't tell you is that it's a one time use warranty. Once they replace the item you have to buy another warranty. Said piss on that and if it breaks again I would buy an ARB for under the hood. So needless to say I now have a ARB.

Oh and if you do buy the warranty be sure to keep the receipt, I did, and when I went to make the claim it wasn't in their system, they tried to talk their way out of replacing it, but I said I had my receipt for the replacement warranty and one way or another they were going to replace it.

It looks like the same one I'm using. Got it at pep boys a few years ago and has served me well.
