I also replaced my "Rubicon" decals (had thought about removing them also) with the TJ Dark silver (as opposed to the normal silver the JK uses) and added the same color "Jeep" decals on the side.
I also added an old AMC emblem that I had left over to the back.

I like having it there but not necessarily in chrome. I would like to see if I can find it in a smoke/black chrome to replace it. I guess I had never thought of it until this thread though. I would put this pretty low on my mod list.

Debadged@ The Dealership
As soon as I knew I was buying the Jeep I had some fishingline debadged the JEEP and X along w/ dealer sticker and plate before leaving the lot. Pull the top down and me ,my wife and son went for a ride. The bigest regret is not looking @ the gearing(never a problem w/ other Jeeps I have owned) and now I cry everyday for make such a stupid mistake. I was to damn concerned about getting the best deal. sorry for the rant...

Good everywhere except the antenna. I got to touch it up a bit at the base. I guess I did not rough it up enough. You need to lightly sand/scuff the surfaces before painting to get it to adhere well. I also did my doors off mirrors and mounts (made myself) at the same time. I have to say the wife did the painting though especially on the JEEP as it had to be frehanded with a brush because taping all that off for a spray would have been a nightmare.

Having looked at the images, I'm not sure if I'll pull it off or paint it black and put it back on. I'm sort of torn right now. Guess I'll have to play around a little bit. Once I get it.

I just voted no because mine is still on the vehicle, and I was going to come down here and tell you why it's staying...............but then I read the rest of the thread and, more importantly saw the pics (Mark Doiron and BLKRBI), and now I'm going to wait for a nice warm day and do some badge surgery. Looks way better without it IMHO.
