About the emblem, I painted mine black along with everything else that was silver or chrome (see signature). Everything is holding up except for the driver's door lock where am idiot at the dealership actually used the key to open the door. It like he forgot to screw something up when he was underneath it, so he had to get a parting shot in before I picked it up! Oh well, it will repaint easily enough.

i took my logo off and my wife says, "You just want people to think you drive a hummer!"
I scowled....then responded by quoting a favorite bumper sticker I've seen ("If I wanted a hummer, then I would have asked YOU!")
It didn't work
She was only kidding....I wasn't.....no dice!

Completely Debadgered
I took the Jeep off the grill last week (uh, so it's medium rare)
Today I took the trail rated badger off. Low and behold what do I find underneath the gooey stickiness? A small scratch and dent. The badger was hiding it. (I know I didn't put it there with fishing twine)
Next thing I see with a logo on it is the steering wheel center piece.
Anyone know of an after-market replacement?

My JEEP emblem and all my stickers came off around December of '06. I left on the trail rated badge as I wasn't sure whether there was an antenna hole behind it for European JK's. But I painted the emblem black.

I asked my wife what she thought of removing the front emblem, and she likes it.... but I think that the cleaned-up look (thanks for the pic, Mark) is going to win out in the end... and it's only taken me over a year of owning it to figure that out!
