Diff fluid change
Notice anything?

Doesn't seem the photo is working.
Today I went to the auto store and picked up the necessary fluids for my differential fluid change. All went extremely well, thanks to Project-JK's no fuss write ups. Props, WOL. I had no idea how easy it was...anyway.
I had just finished the back diff, torqued everything up, picked up tools, etc. After I finished consolidating the three bottles I used and sat it next to the last unopened bottle I noticed something....one bottle wasn't gear oil, it was Manual transmission fluid!!
I frantically compared all the bottles to make sure none of the ones I used were manual tranny fluid....as luck would have it I used the correct oils.
See these were the last four bottles on the shelf and they were in a neat little row. Future reference- even if you're getting a few of the same things...make sure they're the same. This could have turned out to be an expensive problem as they were all Royal Purple!
