To Disco or not to disco?

Jeep Brake Traction Control Explained
As far as manual QDs, I have the TF and it's really no problem. I'm going to get out of the Jeep to attach the Stantz tire deflators, so while they're doing their thing, I can get the TF QDs detached and stored--takes all of one minute. Putting them back on might take an extra minute or two (sometimes have to shove things around a bit to get things lined up), but it's no big hassle.

Thanks, this was a very interesting read. It kind of seems that the LSD with the BLD is a better choice for all around Jeep life. A rig set up with this should be able to handle moderately difficult trails and do well in winter conditions.
For $1300 I am pretty close to a B.B. and 33's on stock rims which should get me that much farther off road.
If anybody thinks differently or the same for that matter please chime in.
I am ordering this afternoon.
The only vehicles I have used locking differentials on are my tractors and they are nice but you have to engage them manually. The LSD works automatically.
The LSD is not a replacement for lockers, but I believe it is a pretty good compromise.
Also, don't you have to be in 4LO for the Mopar Locker to engage?
I forget which thread, but someone on this forum had some cool advice about the parking/emergency brake instead of lockers.
He/she said that if you lift the e-brake enough to make 2 "clicks", the LSD will engage both rear tires -- a poorman's locker solution.
As far the disconnects, I'm ordering JKS Quicker Disconnects for $100 + shipping.
So, IT SEEMS that a $100+ solution may be better than the $1,300+ you were quoted. And this may work for you since your JK is primarily your daily-driver.
I have yet to try this advice and install the quick discos this weekend ... we'll see.
