Did you check the spare too?

Yes, TPMS's eventually go bad and need to be replaced. But that is usually after many tens of thousands of miles. If you are still under warranty, take it in.

I believe they have batteries in them so if they're old enough, yes.

Yup....they eventually go bad. Just do away with them....unless you like the idiot light flashing at you when it gets cold.

They will eventually go bad. The lifespan on them is 7-10 years if i remember right. I know i had to replace one on my CTS-V in 2011, and it was a 2004.

Mine won't turn the light off until I have 36 psi.

That did it...I air'd them up to 38 and the light is off. Weird. Think I will have to disable those things...36-38 seems a bit high to me. Ride feels a bit harder.

Anyway, thanks for the all the helps, gents!

Yeah 38 psi is pretty high. I'd spend $150 on an AEV ProCal (or find one used) and use it to set your TMPS to whatever pressure you want it to warn you at. Personally, I set mine to 0 so when I air down to 8-10 during wheeling trips, I don't have to look at that stupid light.
