Default Door Stops

Is there anyone making door stops for the JK? Tired of manually holding the doors open!

It's a Jeep thing. Go buy a Toyota. Oh, and welcome aboard.

you can mount some small shocks/actuators on the doors, like some have done on the rear gate to keep that open.

Getting slammed in the lower leg by the door is part of the jeep experience

haha, must be your first wrangler, this is my third one and its completely natural for me to kick a foot out the door to keep it from slamming back into me. often i hook my foot under it to keep the wind from blowing it open or shut. another thing you can do is park on a hill/slant with you door pointing downhill or the nose of the jeep pointing downhill, that'll keep it open for ya.

In all honestly, i think some of those mini actuators would do the trick. also, i remember seeing some aftermarket metal things for the TJs that were used to keep the door from opening too far, like metal limiting things instead of the fabric straps, those might have included a notch to keep them open. Good luck

Two words: Bungee Cords

I know... you might be a redneck if: you hold your car door open with a Bungee cord.

X2
I have never had the doors slam closed on me while they are in my garage (at least I think that is where I last saw them)

I'm with Rockstar on this one. I've fabbed up the tailgate hold open strut, and want to make or buy something to hold open the doors.

No, this is not my first Jeep.

Yes, I already have a Toyota truck.

This mod (like the tailgate strut) is for my wife. The Rubicon is her daily driver.

If anyone hears of someone having success with this, please share it.

Thanks!
