The above pic reminds me of a pic on the thread about the storage box writeup. Seems pretty common to have a female nearby with her arms crossed looking at whatever we are up to....

I wonder if the look is the same?

Nice, noot!

Whever you put 'em, just make sure they're safe because they are ex-pen-sive to replace!!

They want something like $280+ for a single fender flare here... I don't even want to think about how much a new door costs!

I rope the doors together at the top, and make sure they're all leaning inwards... I shook the whole thing real good and it was pretty darn sturdy

I know this is going to be "worthless without pics"[B]

Since I have bare stud walls in my garage, I bought 4 "L" hooks that screwed to the studs. Two on two studs on one wall and two on two studs on another wall. So each wall has two hook 16" apart.

Then I got 1" grey foam pipe insulation and put that over the hooks and held it with zip ties.

I also used the remainder of the pipe insulation to pad the studs by opening it up (it has a seam that opens up) and running it up each stud and stapling it.

Basicly I put this padding on the wall anywhere the door may come into contact with anything on the wall that can scratch or dent

Total cost $30.00 Install time 20 minutes.

The doors weight about 60 to 65 lbs each with out power windows.

To hang the doors I just hang each door on two hooks through the open windows.

Sometimes it bends the weather stripping but it goes right back to shape when you roll up the windows
