Driving in high winds
I set the cruise on 60...kick a leg out the door, turn up the radio and let everyone pass me..
..If you drive in a hurried fashion all the time or speed is important to you...then you prolly dont need a Jeep.....
high winds are troubling. for me, i always think i look like that day drunk getting home, swerving all over the road, cutting off people and such. bt i love my jeep. my dream vehicle. just need more mods and another one
Doesn't bother me, but I'm used to it. My wife doesn't like to drive long hwy trips.
I like it actually. It makes driving the monotonous hwy more of an adventure...you have to be alert. Add in some rutted asphalt and 12.5" wide tires, you float and bounce from one lane to the next.
Seriously though, I have OME hd springs and 35's, add on some more weight and some adjustable control arms, it behaves pretty darn well. I notice the difference when I take a ride in my friends SUV's, but then I just miss riding in the Jeep.

Wind can suck,, unles it's behind you....
I Think it's ..
"It's A Jeep Thing"
we have a small car for those trips that aren't Jeep related,, road trips, and then the Jeep for all the really Fun Trips..
I do not like high crosswinds in my 2 door at expressway (75 mph) speeds. It is entertaining for awhile, but gets annoying if it is a long trip. I just slow down 10 mph or take secondary roads where I can drive slower yet.
