My Tahoe does the same thing. I think the jeep is uploading to the spy satellites that you have made entry to the vehicle. It uploads when your mission is complete. Thats why it does it when you shut it off!

hahah..yeah i still have not figured out what this sound is. Kinda freaked me out. Sorry for the thread on same topic previously brought up. I didnt know this was already posted! After all...i thought i was going nuts and hearing things!

I think it's the Blend Door actuators. I've heard that they activate and calibrate all the time...

 

I love how we all say we hear it, yet no one knows what the H3!! it is! I thought for sure it was the CD player.

 

Its the computer "reading" the open door and then gurgitat'n on it.

It's in the manual somewhere sorta.

There is fuses for it.

 

Ahh Man I got it too. My wife's been asking me what that is and I keep telling her she's hearing things. But now I'm hearing it and , well , I also hear little voices, and well I'm gonna stop writ . . . . .
