Default Experience with Superflow "MaxVolume" compressor?

Hello... I'm looking for a decent 12v compressor (not ready to go on-board at this point). I came across a few on 4wd.com that are spec'd at 100% duty, which seems nice, but then I was looking at this one for 1/3 the price:

Superflow MV50 Portable Air Compressor

From the description, it sounds just about right for me -- I wouldn't mind a six-minute-per-tire wait, and I would basically just be doing one vehicle at a time. Anyone have any experience with these?

6 minutes for a tire doesn't sound bad, but when you look at 30 minutes for the 4 tires you need to drive on, it sounds too much for me.

As far as your question, I believe I have seen that model number mentioned elsewhere with positive feedback. I also think I remember seeing that there is a big brother that has twice the output for a few more dollars. May want to look around, I wouldn't want to wait for a half hour to air up.

I have one of those and it works very well. I got mine at Autozone for $50 bucks.

You should check around Pep Boys, Checkers, Autozone, etc.

It airs tires up fast, and it is cheap. I love mine.

What is amazing is that it performs about as well as the expensive compressors that are available. The one caveat is that it has a duty cycle.

I don't think it would be a good choice if you are running anything larger than 33" tires. In fact, if you were airing up a set of 35" tires I think you would have to stop and let it cool down before you finished.
