Default Factory slider with other steps/rails/etc.?

User "Tgrt" has some sliders on his 2-door that work with the factory rubi rails. I want some basic sliders... but i need them to function as steps as well. I have a good offer on some rubi sliders right now... and would go with the tube steps for a grand total of 225... IF they will work together.

Alternatively... i guess i will have to fork out 400 plus bucks for the body armor sliders that look to be functional as steps also.

any suggestions?? anyone fit sliders and steps on without any custom fabbing? thanks!

I am getting ready to do that exact mod, rampage tube steps with factory rubi rails, this weekend, I will post pic's and a write up on what it took to do, and how it performs.

I have the Shrockworks ones which were modified to fit with the factory rails. I know they're expensive, but they are really nice. (My mother is in town this week and is 5'2". She needs a step and was able to easily use the Shrockworks rails as steps.)

Has anyone considered these? They look like the best of both worlds. Or would that be a case of them being O.K. at both but not great at either?

I considered those until I researched and found out they false advertise their products for the 2-door crowd. Vendors usually post the product description exactly as it comes from the product manufacturer. In this case, the product description for the 2-door version says it slides in & out. If you go to 4x4products.com it says only the 4-door version slides out.

It is the same thing with the Reversa Bars. The description says it can mount up or down, but on their website it says it only mounts in the up position.

I almost bought the Reversa Bars from a vendor.. I would have been EXTREMELY upset if they did not perform like the product descriptions stated.
