Angry Finally had something stolen from my Jeep...

Well, after a year and a month of owning my Jeep something was finally stolen from it.

Not my CB radio, not my lights, not my hilift, nothing I would have thought would get stolen.

It was my hitch mounted tow hook. They stole both the hook and the pin...sigh...

Yeah...I can't imagine who the hell would steal one of these unless they were gonna use it themselves. Can't see them selling it for more than a few bucks.

Anyway I've already been looking at some. There's one on eBay for 9.05 plus 7 for shipping. That seems like a good deal compared to the 21-30 bucks I've seen them at online retail stores.

Ordered! Good time to protect my $25 hook.

Sorry about your hook , I had someone break into my eclipse once, completely messed up my dash and stole my 5 year old $50 cd player, but left my S-AFC, AVC-R, MSD Ignition, NO2 bottle, and my $300 sunglasses.

Let me know how you like that lock. It was one of the few I saw that looked like the lock was built into the pin, as opposed to a padlock looking thing at the end of the pin.

That's funny that you had a similar instance of thief stupidness. Just a few months ago my friend's jeep got broken into. They took her crappy old CB radio (that didn't even work), but left the speakers, subwoofer, and amp that she just bought a few days prior..

The irony: I leave my rig top-down and unlocked, but I lock my hitch receiver!!!
