here in nova scotia glass coverage is not that expensive but making a claim will affect your future premiums. i think you are allowed three window claims and then you are screwed.

 

That's weaksauce. It's not like an accident claim...you have no control over whether or not you're going to catch a stone and crack your windsheld.

 

It was last year. Insurance is crazy expensive out there as opposed to here anyway. I'm not 25 yet so I don't get that big insurance break until next year but last year my policy with AMA was a little over $2000 for a year PLUS the glass policy so $2150, here I have EVERYTHING and then some for just under $1300.

P.S - I have a clean record, been driving since I was 16

 

I'm right there with you about the windshield. I didn't have my jeep 2 wks before I got a small chip due to a rock. Approximately 3 1/2 wks that same small chip turned into an 8 inch crack. Had to have the windshield replaced, cost me just over $300
