Default Freedom Edition JK Launches

Jeep has launched the Freedom Edition JK, shown below in True Blue, a new color for 2013. It's a cosmetic package, albeit a nice one...

Jeep Wrangler Freedom Edition | Jeep 4x4 | 2012 Jeep

In the language of the proud serviceman and servicewomen who truly exemplify freedom, being "on the move" or "on mission" represents the special status given to those who have served to protect our country. In military code it is known as "Oscar Mike." The Jeep® brand is proud to honor this duty to country with the new Wrangler Freedom Edition and its unique "Oscar Mike" badge that celebrates their patriotic efforts.

Haha, yeah. I might feel a little weird driving this since I'm not ex-military. It does look nice, tho.

Very similar to a mountain, with sahara styled fenders. Not sure why they would not just bring back the mountain instead of doing a knockoff.

I don't believe it's as much about being a veteran as about supporting our troops. That's a great Jeep!

Because Chrysler wants to support the troops, and this is a way to do so. The mountain edition does none of that.
