Default Front Track Bar cracking discussion

Wasn't really sure where to put this b/c it's related to both stock and modified, but here goes!

I've see a bunch of posts about the front track bar bracket breaking, both on stock and modified Jeeps. I'd like to pinpoint from everyone's opinion why this is happening. Is a a particular lift? A particular bracket? Bad Factory design, etc. I'm trying to gather as much research as I can as I am working with a dealer that has seen a few of these and want's to know why it's happening so they can goto Jeep with some concrete ideas and suggestions. If it's not a Jeep problem at least they can steer their customers away from certain brands of lifts or types of brackets, and into adjustable track bars if that seams to be the cure?

Thanks

Mine busted this weekend (8/31). The tech support at BDS suspensions said that the factory welds at that point are very poor.
he said I wasnt the first person to call about that today...
I had mine re-welded and I'm certain that it wont break there again.

the crappy part is, when the bracket let go, both my front shocks were bound and they blew too.
other than that, I had a great day wheel'n

i have had my front (and rear) track bar brackets break off. I think part of the issues is a bad lift design, and part bad bracket design. the factory brackets seem to have very little weld holding them to the axle tubes.
