SO I'm guessing its a bad idea to take your Jk to one of these with the soft top on. Just wondering .

There is actually a local car wash here that does a decent job, but it does not have the roller brush that does the top, it is more like long strips of towel that cleans it...

I have been there one time and they did good work. But I usually am riding around with the bikini and duster... too many holes around the edges to take it to a car wash

So it probably won't destroy my soft top if its brand new.

I regularly take mine (with soft top) through one of those lazer washes. I was a little worried at first when the drier made it's way over the cab and the top started to stretch, but I just push back on it as it passes over. Other than that, it's been trouble free.

Touchless car washes I take through with no issues just a few drips of water make it in the back window's around the zippers.... but no ponds in the tub after I go through.

I avoid the Soft cloth just for possible scratches on the softop windows.

I wouldn't do it, but that's just me. It's yours, do what you want!
