Default Fully color matched stock bumpers

I've been seeing a lot of Jeeps in my area with a fully color matched front and back bumper. Is that a custom paint job or was it an option that was available when you order thy Jeep?

If you are reffering to the black or red or blue ones, there's a "special edition" where the large inserts are body color matched. But if the whole bumper is painted, that's aftermarket.

I've wondered how they do that too. I have no interest in doing it, just curious.

You can sand the plastic down, then prime and paint it.

I find painting plastic easier than metal. But outcome of metal is typically nicer, lol.

im not sure what to think on that. Get scratched up very easily thats fore sure. You wouldn't want to do that if you take your jeep off road.

I don't think these kind of (I hate to call them Jeeps) Jeeps are going off-road any time soon.
