Give Me Some Excuses!
Ok, so I have to drive the family to Little Rock on Sunday for my wife and father-in-laws annual birthday lunch. It's bad enough I have to give up NFL Sunday, but don't force me to drive the Honda minivan, too! She is using the better gas mileage and DVD entertainment for the kids against me.
I need some good excuses for taking the Jeep instead! (Besides using the Sirius to listen to football the whole time
)

You heard a rumor Jeep representatives will be patrolling the freeways looking for Jeeps to give prize money to.

that sounds alot like Frank from Everybody Loves Raymond... ahaha
get your kids a portable DVD player for the back seat, or do headrest monitor/DVD players there's an excuse for that. lol. basically, just tell her that since she's taking you away from our beloved NFL sunday, you would like to enjoy one thing about the weekend, and it's driving your jeep with the whole family. try that one. it may get you a bit further than his.
