Default Green Ridge State Forest in MD

Anyone out around Green Ridge State Forest in MD? Im planning on going out there Monday morning to camp. Is there snow on the ground? And how accurate do you think the forecast calling for thunder and rain is? I may reconsider going. My dad took off work to go though. So, Im not happy with our winter or lack of.

Thanks

I dont know where the place you are talking about it but there is snow on teh ground where I am. It melted alot yesterday then froze again. I think it is supposed to warm up and rain though. My guess is the weather guys called it right.

It's in western Md around Hancock. I LOVE to camp there, and have backpacked the trails there a few times. GREAT winter camping. Please give a road report as I hear ALL the trails there are CLOSED. I haven't been since they closed up, but a few of us did a ride out there last winter and it was fun. Let us know what roads are open out there!!
And give us a trip report, please!!

Yeah. There used to be a couple of roads with some nasty washouts and mud holes, but they closed it and no plans on reopening it. I havent been out there in a while so Ill let you know if its still any fun for jeeps. I mainly just want to get somewhere quiet for a little while anyway. Im taking my dad. Hope there is some snow.

Im packing up now and I feel naked..... I have no Duct Tape.... cant go camping or wheeling with out it.
