I know this sounds a bit superficial, but I need help deciding on a 2 or 4 door Rubicon... I saw the 4 door and LOVE how much room it has, but I like the 2 door too... what are your opinions?

I own a 2dr, because I like the SWB, we hunt camp and wheel in a lot of trees and dead end roads on the top of mountians, so it is alot easier to get turned around. It's just Mrs. Rupedog and myself so we don't have to have the room. But if you have a family, I would get a 4dr. I have had to get rid of other 2drs before the kids grew up. There just wasnt' enough room in them. I think you just have to decide what you need now and in the future. What fits your need. Trying to pack stuff into a 2dr with even just a family of 3 is a drag.
I currently have a 4 door Rubicon, and I now have a 4 door X on order. I am single, have no children, and no big dog to haul around :o), but I needed/wanted the extra room in the back, so I went with the 4 door.
Best of luck with your decision, no matter what you decide, you're still driving a Jeep, so really...................it's all good!!!

The 4 door is easier to get in and out of when you have lots of people. I'm single, no dog, but go camping on the weekends and it's nice to have an extra 82 cubic inches for tents, coolers, beer and people etc.
Go with 4...

Personally, I'm not a fan of the 4-door's appearance, but I AM a fan of its extra space and easy-of-access to the rear. Having said that, I bought a "classic" 2-door, and have never regretted it. I took out the rear seat, and now have plenty of storage and cargo room. If you're going to NEED to use your rear seat, I would suggest you go with the 4-door, though - it's more practical for people-moving (by a mile).

I had a 2 dr., and found having 3 boys(10, 11, and12), and 4 drs. was a blessing. (No more fighting over the front seat!) With all 3 in football the extra room for equiptment is great. And if dad will ever go anywhere with us the extra seatbelt will come in handy.
The 4 dr, a four wheelin adventure for the whole family to enjoy!

I vote 4-door because that is what I am planning on getting.
Reasons:
ROOM!
We currently have 2 dogs and want to start a family soon, so 2 doors just isn't enough room. Until the JK came out I was ready to trade my TJ in on a *gasp* suv - soccor mom style *gasp*.
But now with the 4-door JK I can have the 'Jeep' and the room.
