I vote 4-door because that is what I am planning on getting.
Reasons:
ROOM!
We currently have 2 dogs and want to start a family soon, so 2 doors just isn't enough room. Until the JK came out I was ready to trade my TJ in on a *gasp* suv - soccor mom style *gasp*.
But now with the 4-door JK I can have the 'Jeep' and the room.

I went with the four door..... Wife, 15 month old son, 2 Great Danes and me...... I needed the room. I like everything about the 4 door. Myself nor my wife wouldn't allow my son to ride in the 84 hybrid CJ that I had, so I talked her into selling my CJ, and my 06 Ram and getting a Rubi Unlimited with a less than X payment and still have money left for mods, of course then I went over board with phase one, which she should have expected. Anyway, Now I have a very capable, off road machine that I have no quams about putting my son in. Just for the record though, if he was older and could climb in and out by himself (so I wouldn't have to manuver him ito the backseat), I would have gone with a two door. Heck the Wife and dogs can stay home!

we have a minivan. there are not words strong enough to express my loathing of that worthless piece of driveway spluge.
Awesome choice on the jeep
There is me, the spousal unit, 4 girls, the black lab, and two goldfish. I got the 2 door. The Jeep is my daily driver and our fun car for the weekends. We specifically DIDNT want the 4 door (wasnt actually big enough anyhow) It has enough seats for the occasional emergency trip, everything else we take the Dodge "driveway turd" Caravan

I bet you can't wait for the graduation day, all four of them. I feel so sorry for you. 2dr or 4dr really is quite subjective, doesnt really matter as long as it is SILVER.
