Default Help -- Jeep rental in Denver

OK, I'll try to boil down a long story:

My wife will be having surgery in January in Denver. Her doctor is insisting that we fly instead of drive, but I really want to be in a JK while we're there. (Not that I'll be able to do ANY wheeling, but how can I go to the Rockies and not drive a Jeep?)

Do any of you Colorado folks know of a rental place at or near the airport that offers JK rentals? A web search has only turned up a place in Englewood, about 32 minutes away.

I go to Colorado almost every winter and rent from Avis. The past few years they've had quite a few JKs sitting in the rental lots. Perhaps you can request a specific vehicle from them? I've never tried but worth a shot. Best of luck to both you on your search and to your wive for her surgery

Thanks! When the possibility of the trip arose, we agreed we'd take my Jeep over, but neither of us was counting on the doctor nixing an 8-hour Jeep ride after brain surgery, LOL!

Most of the rental car companies at DIA have Jeeps just request when you book. I see them in the lots out there all of the time. Good luck!

By the way Englewood is only 32 minutes from DIA if you have a helicopter or at 2 am....lol!

Yeah most rental agencies have a Jeep as an upgrade option even though they don't advertise them online. Just give a call to the actual rental location and ask them. May even be able to reserve it over the phone instead of online.
