Hi everyone...got my local dealer trying to find me a Mango Tango Unlimited Rubi w 6 spd/hard top/nav and the khaki (tan) interior. I checked myself on one of those auto search sites, and in a 500 mile radius (not that Id go that far!) found 0 equipped that way. Im not far from Allentown, Pa. - if anyone knows of any within say 250 miles of here, point me in the right direction. Hard to find that combo even with the gray interior. Thanks a million!

 

I've been looking at black and Mango's within 300 miles from Nebraska and I have never seen a mango with khaki interior, I think you'll find a unicorn before you find a Mango with a khaki interior, maybe you should just settle for khaki seat covers?

 

I recently saw a Mango Tango 2 Door with Khaki hardtop and interior and six speed in TX but it was a sport with the Mountain Edition package. I nearly jumped on it but it had power widows which was a gigantic turn off for me. So ultimately I decided to wait and see how the '11's would look. Glad I waited, Mango is still available and the improved interior is fine with me especially with the much better steering wheel. Just as long as the dash is not two tone in my next Jeep I'm good and of course it is sans power crap and sans automatic.

Good luck finding the exact Jeep you want so late in the model year.

These things are a rare bird, thats for sure. I found a couple, but theyre autos and/or Saharas. My dealer found me ONE at another dealer, but of course that dealer says they had someone inquire about it, and wont give us an answer until that pans out. The waiting IS the hardest part!

 

Just order what you want, then you get it equipped the way you want it.

 

Went thru the search process back in mid-June for a very specific Mango/Rubi and the only one we found was at a dealer that wouldn't release it (same story: "someone just inquired about it"). In my advancing years I've learned that I'm much happier if I only buy exactly the vehicle I want, not settling for something "close". Since I didn't really like the current interior anyway and figured it couldn't get any worse for 2011, I ordered what I wanted the day after 2011 ordering opened up. Latest update from the dealer is that it's scheduled to ship on Aug. 19th. Won't take others that long to get one now that 2011 production is starting - so if you can be a little patient I encourage you to get exactly what you want.

 

Im in total agreeance with you, trouble is while I like the 2011 interior, I dont like it in a Wrangler, at least what Ive seen of it. Kind of stupid on Chryslers part not to have pictures of the different interior variations (Im hoping there is different ones) available, yet they open the ordering process. If this doesnt pan out Ill have to wait and see if the Rubi interior is a little more utility-like. Hopefully that god-awful black/tan color scheme floating around is only for a Sahara, but I really like the khaki interior on the 2010s.

 

Not to rub salt into the wound, but there was one out here in Ca. A bit far I fear...
