Highway Speed with Freedom Panels Out?

Having the freedom panels off is fine on the highway. Biggest issue on longer drives that way is you don't realize how sunburned your face can get.

had them off with the doors off up to 95 no problems at all. have fun

A little late, but how did this end up working for you? Wanting to take my 2015 on a road trip tomorrow with freedom panels removed, but hardtop still bolted down.

I take my panels out often and make the 30 Mile drive to work on the highway no problem.
what I don't really like as much is the doors off and the rear part of the top on, no problem as far as the jeep, but it intensifies the wind coming in with no where to go, now if I take the doors off I take off the complete top, but just the panels are easy and quick and do great on the highway
