I'm confused. People are locking their jeep and using one of these to keep just a normal key, but keeping the real key inside? I thought if the alarm was set, it would go off when you open the door.

This would work great, but it isn't cheap. I would only use it for times when I am at the beach, etc. I would probably put my tuffy cubby key in there, and put my real keys in the cubby hole (since I have too much on them to fit in it).
