Try riding a Sport Bike in a world full of Harleys... So now I just wave at the non-wavers with my patent pending wave ... What are they going to do, catch me?

Try riding a Sportster in a world of bullet bikes and billet barges. One on the best all around bikes out there, and still the bastard child of the motorcycle world.

I think a lot of the problem springs from the hummerlike look of the JK's. Makes the soccer moms want one, make the earlier jeepers hate 'em.

They don't know what they are missing. You couldn't pay me to take my TJ back, and that truck was light years ahead of the YJ before it.

Default Fort Collins is a two door town.

95% of the JK's I see in Fort Fun are two-door. When I go to Denver, 99% are four-door. I wave at all the Wranglers. I get luvin back from the TJ's and earlier especially when I have my roof and doors off or if they have a winch. Very little luvin back from other JKs in either town regardless of the roof and door status.

Just don't try your special wave on one of those 1800cc Goldwings. I've heard they're pretty fast.

2 doors are rare... but I don't even look at 4 doors... real jeeps are 2 doors... hehe... Just kidding.

I hate soccer moms!! But I keep waving at them... maybe they will change.

X2. And, even when it was in the 20s yesterday, I cranked down my window several times to initiate the wave--just to make sure they see it. I'll keep it up because it's a good thing. We have to not let it disappear!

Hey, there's a cadre of us in the middle of the country sticking up the the JK Jeep reputation, too!

I hear you! My take is if roll on two wheels you’re good in my book. The problem with riding a sport bike is you are instantly tagged as a reckless punk… I am slightly aged, and so are all of the guys that I ride with. I refuse to ride with anyone that is reckless; the average age of the group I ride with is 35. We are a small tight nit group that enjoy the high performance that sport bikes provide; but do so while respecting the right for others not to be taken out early. I will admit it takes a lot of restraint to not just turn up the wick every chance you get, but if you value life you learn restraint. We only cut lose in Uninhabited areas or on the track…

LOL, I am well aware of the mighty wing; I have played with a few of them and they are no joke… I have plans on owning one someday; in fact I would already have one if the wifey would just buy into my vision. I am going to purchase a Gold Wing to tow my sport bike to the twisty's! The way I see it you would have the best of both worlds… But, then again the big wing handles very well when the road starts twisting, it just requires a different level of commitment. I want to turbo charge one…

This is a stock Busa from 70-170mph. The crazy thing about the Hayabusa is that it pulls hard all the way up to 185mph. If any of you ever get the chance to twist the throttle on one it will be a ride you will never forget. And that is with a measly 170hp at the rear. Mount a turbo and crank up the boost and you can put between 200-600hp to that skinny little tire. Nothing like wheel spin a 150mph…

As far as the JEEP wave goes; I am all in… granted none of you snobs in your wranglers ever waved back when I was rolling in my 93 Cherokee Sport. I figure if I can’t beat you, I might as well join you!
