Hood Decals For Sahara
i'm not too big on the sahara logo, especially because on a black jeep with the gray interior it is the only tan on the whole vehicle. i'm thinking about removing the sahara logos and putting "sahara" in silver on the hood like the rubicon.
then i'd probably put a silver JK decal where the original sahara logo was.
has anyone done this? i'd love any pics and/or feedback.

There was a thread on this not too long ago. Someone had a "unlimited" silver sticker on the hood. It was custom made and i believe the place could make just about any decals.

Go to your local sign shop, have them take a photo of your stock GOLD Sahara decal and then they can reproduce it in any color you want.
I had this done and had the Sahara done in Black and Dark Gray. In fact they should be ready this weekend. It cost me $32.50 for a set of two. I had six sets made so the cost per set was'nt that bad. One set only, was like $85 Iam selling the rest to friends (at cost) who want to get that ugly GOLD decal off their Jeeps............

i do have a guy that does work for me for our business. i know he'd make them for me. that's where i was planning on having the hood decals made. i can't imagine him charging that much just for letters in a font he already has on file.

I had Sahara stickers ,pin stripe, JEEP & Wrangler (on sonar step backup sensor) made and installed at local 3M trim shop for $150. I had talked to them before Jeep came in so they knew what i wanted done. The silver color they used matches factory lettering.
