I'm still looking for a Jeep, and I found an 08 for 21900, with only 760miles on it. Problem is, it's a soft top and half doors and I want the hard top.

I'm assuming it'll run me about $5k+ to get doors and a top, that sound about right? Any suggestions?

I like the 1/2 doors, but really want the full doors too.

 

I chose the dual top option ($1500?) with full doors, and will add Element doors with the enclosure kit for about $500.

Keep looking. If you really want the hard top, get the hard top. I really wanted half doors and didn't like the full doors at all -- different strokes. Spend the time to get what you want!

IMHO, skip the Jeep you're looking at.

 

there's a guy in the writeup section that bought the complete parts list for half doors from mopar and built them himself (his JK came with full doors). he put up the estimated cost at around $7K. i'd imagine that project would be at similar cost for full doors. but as the others said, there are alternative options, especially if you're willing to part with your halves.

 

7k for half doors is insane.
