My recent experience trading in my '07 Sahara echoes the posts above.
Trade in value with aftermarket mods (OME lift, 33" Duratracs, aftermarket wheels, etc.,): $17,000
Trade in value with JK returned to stock configuration: $17,000
Bottom line: don't add aftermarket with the expectation of added value.

Keep the stuff that look good and sell your functional stuff. Hate to say it but the only people who will give you top dollar are because of the stuff that makes it look cool.
I got about 2500 more for mine than I bought it for cause I took performance stuff off and sold a mall crawler. Then sold the stuff i took off.The kid who bought it asked if it was 4wd and gas or diesel. Smdh...whatever tho, he gave me $23,000 in a shoebox full of $20's
Even though its got mods tho, its still a sport. people think they can get a sport for cheaper and build them. Put it for sale in eBay with a reserve price to test the waters
