11 days is a relatively short time to start bitching about something you purchased online.

 

Yes I have tried many many times by phone and by multiple emails to get a hold of the seller there hasn't been any miscommunication becasue I can't get a hold of him.the ebay auction said 10 available that means there where 10 available no mention anywhere that he had to order 10,so I bought 5 so there shouldn't be no lag time. It just pisses me off I could handle if they where back ordered or what ever be the case but just tell me what is going on with the order, so that I am not left in the dark. I ordered 5- 35.12.50x15 BFG MT/AK from 4wheel parts and had them in 5 days they are bigger then the 28lbs wheels. I just don't think I am going to see my wheels which is a shame because those are the ones that I liked the best.

 

Lot's of times, vendors don't even have the parts that they are advertising and order it when you purchase or do a "drop ship". I hate it when a seller has no communication though. When I spend money, I like to be kept in the loop with my parts.

Um, open a Dispute with EBay. The seller has a few days to respond. Doesn't EBay have a $500 buyer protection if you use a credit card or paypal?

 

I have bought so much stuff from ebay in the last 1o years it is pitiful. I have bought everything from my 5-35" mud grapplers to jl audio subs(2-15s in 2 sep boxes and a 1000 watt amp) Some people only ship like 1 time a week if they are a big time seller. f they are busy like that then they may not be quick on replying to emails either. What was the name of the seller? I deal with a guy that runs a tire/rim store out of North carolina and he is cheap and quick shipping and answers emails. He runs a store that the website is rimzoneonline.com He has a pretty good selection of wheels as well as tires.I really would like to know who you delt with on ebay though.

 

The name of the outfit was Cape Fear 4x4 or Danny's automotive he is some where in Wilmington NC. I did open a dispute with Pay Pal and the busniness has till June 18th to reply either to me or to Pay Pal.I will get refunded my money but it just sucks that I have to wait that long for a resolution considering I have everything else(susp.lift tires ,front track bar etc.) I am like a kid on X-mas eve. So far he has not contacted either one of us. So I will just have to wait and continue to try and get ahold of the guy. If anyone has delt with him before please let me know his secret.

 

Heard of Cape Fear 4x4 but never of Danny's Automotive. Albeit I haven't lived down that way in over 7 years. It's about 2.5 hours southeast of me now. Not that it makes it suck any less or anything.

 

Only 12 people have had dealing with him on ebay. He's got 12 perfect feedback, although most his items were purchases.. I don't think he is scam artist. I waited over a month for a ford lightning bumper cover one time. I bought off ebay. I never got a tracking number and thought the guy had ripped me off. One morning freight truck called at 5 am saying he would be there at 10 with the bumper.

 

Keep us posted. Hopefully they come in a few days. Could be slow shipping on the seller's part.

 

I will keep posted, thanks for all the advice I am hoping all who said that it could be a late shipment are right. It's just hard to be patient. How long does it take for a company like U.S wheel to spit out a set of tires?
