Default I hope it snows

I am taking the family north for Christmas and I am praying for snow to play in.
My JK and my 3yr old daughter have never seen snow before!

I am a lil' concerned though . .

How do the factory KM's do on snow and ice?

Where are you going up north. Are the tires rated as AT or M/S.

Do you have experience driving in snow as that will be your biggist difficulty?

Be ready for a salt bath for the Jeep so you will want to wash it really good when you get back home.

Hey DON -- You sound so negative! You must not be a fan of snow...... Just take it slow and get a sled so you can stop if you see any sledding hills!!!!!!!
oh and don't forget the hot chocolate!!!!

I'm not negative just I hate the salt.

Hopefully we can get a west branch run on December 20th, that would be fun.

Close by and we can play before Christmas, would you and Dave be up for it.

Cheers

I am going to IL. No good fluffy "lake effect" snow like you get up in my old homeland!
(I grew up 'round Traverse City MI)
I am very experienced in winter driving, just never did it w/ mud tires, always a/t's.
Just wanted to know if the KM's do ok on the ice?

I love Savannah too, just miss the snow 'round the holidays

SALT SUCKS _SS!
I lost a sweet custom '72 Ford f100 to body cancer, because IL uses
sooo much salt due to the ice.

If you have driven it in the past so you will have no problems at all. You already know the techniques, plus if it is snowing alot you just pull that lever that makes the 4x4 work and you will go anyware. I love that little lever in the Rubi and the button in my S10.

Just remember to drive slow and watch out for crazy flatlanders (that what we call them in Wisconsin).

Have a great Christmas.

FYI lots of snow in Traverse City per the weather channel.

Is there any sno at west branch. I went with Bill a few weeks ago to trim branches for the Sno-Blind and they were easy trails.

Sno will make for more fun, are you taking your Jeep or Daves?

My daughter is visiting so I dont think I can go.
