well im going to college soon, and will be joining the military to try and start my career as an officer...anyway, i just...i think that the mileage gain from a little "hot hatch" will really help. i test drove the subaru and i was doin 70-75 on the highway and it was tacked at 35mpg...but, ive had my time to tune the jeep and i think a car will be fun. alot of the reason is i wont be here with my 3 brothers..who all like to mudd. what do u guys think?

I had a jeep thru my junior and senior year of high school and kept it thru college.
I pulled more trim than any sports car.
girls just love jeep guys.

to hell with mileage. there are some things money can't buy.

(well, you can buy it with money but you get arrested.)

The focus rs would be sweet if they brought it to the states. I wouldn't buy one unless it was awd though. Just a different class of car than a evo or wrx.

That sucks, wouldn't catch me in a car instead of my Jeep. Truck, Jeep, Muscle Car. Those are my three acceptable vehicles; i got the muslce car, and sold the truck for the jeep (for now). i look past mpg because i enjoy driving it. I wouldn't care about the boring, turn-key, ecofriendly car's mpg if i didn't give a crap about driving it.

Sounds like your parents bought your Jeep and would buy the "new" car?

assumptions kill dont they?
nah, my dad would pay me to trade the jeep for a car...
the mileage is one thing...i like fast tho...the rs is extremely quick...and an awd model of it would make little to no sense...more of a touring spec car than the evo or subaru...(rally inspired)
