Thick blood, I guess. I could never do that, being an AZ-boy. Once it gets 50 here my top is on, even 60 is pushing it with the wind. 30? I would freeze up like one of the pilots coming out of the chopper in The Day After Tomorrow.
To some people 30s must be warm weather

It must have been some surfer dude from SoCal. 
You could always spot them on campus because they peddled around in shorts and flip flops even when it was in the mid 30's and raining.
Go skiing to Mammoth Mountain in April, they are in tank tops or bikinis catchin' a tan.

When I got my TJ, it was winter time. Since it is necessary to remove the soft top from the vehicle as soon as possible, had to take off the hard top. Well, it was just too hard to resist - my buddy and I drove about 5 miles with the top off to a coffee shop, heat cranked up as high as it would go. Lots of stares, we must've looked like dorks, but it was great!
