Default Interior plastic trim warping!?

The flat black plastic trim around the head-unit and window controls is warping. Just got the jeep 2 months ago. Anyone in heat like Vegas have the same problem? Can get a pic if you guys are curious to see... Summer has just begun too, wonder what it'll look like when Summer is over.

Mine did the same thing. Replaced it under warranty and the second one did the same thing. This is the only issue I've had with my Jeep besides leaks from soft top.

well black material + direct heat of vegas, you cant really blame it for melting can ya? you might want to consider parking in shade with top up and windows open to keep it as cool as possible...... or finding it a nice climate controlled garage....

if you must live in a hell like vegas ild say go with a petrified wood dash with a nice sealant on it, that way its already dry and has a melting point north of 500 degrees.....

Pretty sad the interior warps so easy, mine isn't too bad yet but it's messing with my ocd lol. If it gets worse I'll take it in, either way I can't imagine that piece being too pricey.

Unfortunately there is no shade or garage at work. Might have to start leaving the windows cracked open, I'm sure it'll help some.

I think it's just the lack of securing tabs on it, from just pushing a bit on, it seems like the securing tabs are only around the top storage compartment and the others are at the lower section of it around the AC vents. If there was at least one securing tab just below the stereo it wouldn't loose it's shape.
