Jeep bday gift
Alright guys. I got a new 14 jeep unlimited sprt in december. So far i got 285 70 17 duratracs. I installed a brand new sound system. I just recently bought spidertrax spacers and gonna get them installed. My girlfriend asked me what i want for my bday and if i wanted anything for my jeep. She said no more than 500 lol. My bday is way off. Its in august. But idk what i want next. Any ideas?

Happy birthday! My vote is for headlights for sure! These stock headlights garbage!
I've been looking for a while and was between Truck-lites and KC Hilites for a while.
The cheapest I found KC Hilites for was $431.95 sold and shipped by Amazon.
Amazon.com: KC Hilites (42321) 7" LED Headlight for Jeep JK - Pair: Automotive
The great thing about KC over Truck-lite is their 23 year warranty and no extra harnesses required. You pretty much wouldn't have to buy another headlight again, unless they get damaged in an accident or due to road debris.
Truck-lite with harness currently costs about $419 from NR 4x4 and comes with a only a 3 year warranty. I've made my mind on the KC and will probably be pulling the trigger myself soon.

Trucklites. They make a 7" LED replacement for the Wrangler JK. Installs in about 15 minutes. The lamp is DOT approved and appears to be high quality (we've had a set of them for 8 months now). They're very popular on here.
KC just came out with a similar model. Reviews seem to agree that the KC version focuses more light into the center of the beam, whereas the Trucklites have a more even beam. Both have pattern artifacts. The Trucklites have a faint X pattern and the KC's have brighter spots at the center. It's just how the reflectors are configured and it probably comes down to personal preference. The KC does have an enticing 23 year warranty however.
Just a thought! Northridge4x4 carries the TL's at a pretty good deal. I don't know who carries the KC's. I see them on Amazon, but make sure you're buying from a reputable vendor.
