I bought a used one from an 08 rubicon and it fit perfect on my 07 sahara.

I have also heard that building hardtops is a very hard process as well. The Factory ones are built on the vehicles from what I hear. A large top company rep said they are impossible to fit correct sometimes because the tolerances on the JK is way more than more the YJ and TJ were. They have seen them a full inch out of square on the tub

just got an e-mail from my dealer stating that he doesn't think the shortage will affect my order, hardtop jeeps are pretty much all thats ordered here in the great white north. maybe the shortage is mostly on the 4 dr units. will keep you posted as he is following my order.

I bought 1/2 a hardtop a month ago. I just needed to order the top two panels. They were and are on backorder forever...........I finally gave up and found two panels on Ebay. They just came in today. Glad I got those!

and to think when i got my JK last summer I did not want the hard top! glad to say i came to my senses and took it...picked up a used soft top this winter for $450...which will be going on by the end of the month...assuming we warm up here in VA!?!
