This news is a few months old, but looks like the J8 received a ballistic certification. Pretty badass.

The J8 is truly awesome, they said they took the ruggedness of the Rubicon and tripled it for the military vehicle.

Too bad the US's fuel emission laws automatically banned it for US interests. Sucks.

Diesel all the way.

With any luck we'll be able to get bulletproof windshields in our JKs. Mine lasted a week.

So.... If i heard correctly, some dealers will be able to order the J8 pick up? That'd be pretty cool.
