Looks like you were on the west side. If you're still there, be sure to hit up Kimo's (Hula pie is the best) and BJ's (pizza). Those are two of our favorites in Lahaina.

Haha. Yes, we're on the west side. We went to Kimos @ there is a Dukes Beachhouse on our resort that serves the hula pies. We've had about 6 of them already (free one every time you bring in your receipt from the previous meal)

On his Honeymoon, and you are already suggesting the backroad!

Thanks, I've been using both my iPhone 4S & my 5D Mark II for those photos.

Be aware on the road to hand, lo also have little patience for tourists. With your tight turns and move over if someone comes up on your rear fast. Also if you do the full circuit coming back don't let the rental company know.

Don't even bother Jeep waving unless you see an obvious local Jeeper.

Just got back from there myself last month on my honeymoon

Our view from our condo:

edit: Not sure how long you are there, but if you are still there for a few days, you HAVE to get tickets to the Warren and Annabelle show on Front street in Lahaina.

Plus if you are honeymooning they can pick you to sit up front. It's an absolute riot and I'm so glad we cancelled other dinner plans to go last minute.
